About the team
Our Property Insurance team is expanding and works with several of the UK’s leading property insurers. The team handles a wide range of property damage claims arising from fires, floods, escapes of water, storms, explosions, vehicle impacts and more. We are a collaborative, supportive group with strong technical expertise and a commitment to delivering an exceptional client service. You’ll be joining a team known for its quality, its results, and its strong internal progression pathways.
What you’ll be doing
- Leading and supporting a team of up to 8 Litigation Executives/Paralegals.
- Reviewing and approving key stages of their work, including case planning, strategy, drafting, and litigation.
- Driving team performance, development and financial KPIs.
- Managing your own caseload of intermediate and multi‑track property damage claims.
- Building strong client relationships and providing clear, commercially focused advice.
- Contributing to the firm’s strategy, employee engagement and business development.
- Presenting technical material and supporting the growth of junior colleagues.
- Ensuring full compliance with regulatory, data protection and firm policies.
What do I need?
- Qualified solicitor with insurance and property damage experience.
- Strong academic background.
- Hard‑working, proactive and organised.
- Able to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and further develop technical expertise.
- A critical thinker who can understand and challenge information where needed.
- Ability to lead, develop and support junior team members.
