About the team
Our Complex & Catastrophic Injury department is seeking a motivated Paralegal to join the team. In this role, you’ll provide vital support to our Fee Earners, managing case files and assisting with client claims. You’ll work both independently and collaboratively, gaining exposure to a fascinating area of law. Whether you have a Law degree, GDL, LPC, or experience in file handling or insurance, we welcome your application. We’re committed to developing talent, so if you’re eager to learn and grow, we’ll provide comprehensive training and ongoing support to help you succeed.
What you’ll be doing
- Assist with preparing legal documents such as letters of instruction, court papers, witness statements, and applications.
- Communicate daily with clients and third parties to handle queries and chase updates.
- Update case management systems and maintain accurate records.
- Support administrative tasks like opening/closing files and billing.
- Contribute to liability and quantum investigations as needed.
- Help meet management information requirements and uphold client service standards.
What do I need?
- Educated to degree level, preferably in Law.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, SharePoint, Outlook).
- Well-organised with excellent attention to detail.
- Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- A team player who can also work independently.
