About the team

HF Scotland has grown from humble beginnings into a multi-site operation servicing the legal requirements of the top 20 insurers in the UK as well as many prestigious commercial entities.  As we continue to expand our client base and work types, we are looking for new enthusiastic and innovative trainee solicitors who are ready to take the next bold step in their career.

What you’ll be doing

Eligibility Criteria

• We welcome applications from candidates who meet the requirements for starting a Scottish traineeship. This typically includes completion of (or current progress towards) the LLB and the Diploma in Professional Legal Practice (PEAT 1).
• However, we also recognise that there are multiple pathways into the legal profession in Scotland, and we are open to considering equivalent or alternative routes, provided they meet the Law Society of Scotland’s criteria for entering a traineeship.
• If you're unsure whether your route qualifies, we encourage you to apply and highlight your pathway in your application.
