Causation & Fraud Solicitor or Litigation Executive

HF is looking for a dynamic Solicitor or Litigation Executive with equivalent experience to join our innovative Counter Fraud team. If you thrive on handling complex fraud and causation claims, balancing hourly-rate and fixed-fee work, and diving deep into technical legal challenges—this role is for you.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Handling your own caseload across DA and non-DA fraud and causation matters (approx. 80/20 split)
- Complying with SLAs, court deadlines, and procedural rules (CPR)
- Carrying out advocacy work on applications and case management conferences
- Identifying fraudulent activity and liaising with intelligence analysts
- Advising insurer clients with precision and professionalism
- Updating MI reports and managing databases
- Negotiating with solicitors, clients, and insurers
- Keeping your legal expertise razor-sharp through training and development
What You Bring to the Table
- Hands-on experience managing a varied litigation caseload
- Knowledge of personal injury law—defendant experience preferred
- Strong insurance sector insight
- A sharp eye for detail and the ability to think creatively under pressure
- Confident communicator, capable of public speaking and advocacy
- Proficient in case management systems and legal documentation
- Enthusiastic, self-driven, and an exceptional team player
