 What do I need?

You will ideally have at least 3 years PQE within a similar role handling a full and varied case load of insurance litigation files.  Experience of working in the insurance industry would be beneficial but is not essential. 

You will need to be a dedicated individual who can inspire and supervise junior members of the team, drawing on your experience to provide the best level of advice. You will need to work to deadlines and manage the lifecycle of a claim from start to finish including reviewing and drafting document on behalf of a Partner.

Working alongside senior solicitors, you will need to assist our Partner with progressing litigated files to a conclusion, considering the issues of coverage, liability, quantum and strategy.

What will you be doing?

You will be asked to competently deal with a case load of insurance litigation files including elements of commercial litigation, professional indemnity and property coverage within our case management system.  You will review files and make assessments on liability and quantum, coverage and strategy, engaging with insurer clients and their customers throughout the process.

You will be working alongside an experienced Partner who is well regarded within the sector.
